Interestingly, that was also our record in 2012 (the year we began our 3 year run of beating Tennessee). Mizzou followed that garbage season with back to back trips to Atlanta.

Missouri has never beaten a UT team that was ranked in pre-season polls. Missouri, on the other hand, was preseason #24 last year (#23 in the Coach's Poll). Did you know UT beat them 19-8?

You're right. I'll be damned. I just assumed with all the big talk ya'll must have been ranked in the pre-season in at least one of those years.
But you do have top tier recruiting, right? Or did I frick that up too?

In 2012, UT's class was 8th in the SEC.
In 2013, UT's class was 10th in the SEC.
In 2014, UT's class was 7th in the SEC.
In 2015, UT's class was 4th in the SEC.
In 2016, UT's class was 7th in the SEC.
Last year's team was the first to be in the top third of the conference in recruiting. 19-8
