......and delivers their "2010 Alabama in the Citrus Bowl vs Michigan State" performance in which their entire roster plays up to their potential?

Poor Treon. Poor, poor Treon.

Florida is a 6-6 team in the west.
The east has been a got damn abortion since 2008.

OSU would win that game, but I think it would be about 31-21 or 38-24. Not a total lambasting. Florida has some pride. Bama's most likely gonna give Florida the worst beat down since Jameis two years ago, 37-7.

It is shocking how bad it is this season. They have 4 teams that would been in discussion for "worst team" in most other Power 5 conferences. That is more than half the division. Frick.

It'd be more of a 2009 Florida Sugar Bowl performance-- you know a team coming off a title beats itself in stupid ways to cost itself a conference title to an inferior team but rebounds by playing to potential in the bowl.

All that said, the obsession some have on here running down Florida is amazing, I mean I get it-- if I was a fan of another SEC team I'd be scared of McElwain getting Florida back too- no one in the conference can hang with Florida when the program is humming along, Bama's the only one who can even come close.

Did you watch the 2011 Alabama - Michigan State Citrus Bowl? A Florida - Ohio State game in which Ohio State decides to show everybody one time how good they could have been would be every bit as ugly as that.

It really is amazing that their record is what it is. I agree that they're a 5-6 loss team in the west. If Grier played the entire season, I would probably change my mind.

Did you watch the 2006 National Title game-- you know the one that featured an underrated scrappy Gator team with a dominant defense up against an OSU team everyone said would destroy them?

Honestly, I'm not sure why we're debating this, after Florida beats FSU on Saturday the worst we're doing is the Sugar, barring an upset loss to Ole Miss in Atlanta.

Hell, if there is going to be a game where a pissed off OSU plays to potential and beats down a massively overrated team it'll be this weekend.

I mean, this is nothing against Florida. They shouldn't apologize for being 10-1. Tennessee couldn't do it. Georgia couldn't do it. Florida did do it.

Same was said last year, but it was the West that humiliated the SEC in the bowl games.

This year's western division has skewed my thoughts, with all due respect to Auburn trying to lash out and shite up the place; this year's sec west is the best that there will be for a long arse time.

After the West humiliated the East in the regular season, so, congrats on your wins over Iowa and ECU.

Grier led the SEC in many categories before his suspension, he actually saw and hit the open WRs.. Treon not so much

On the other hand, if we had FSU's schedule we'd still be 10-1 at worst.

I don't know, the rest of the East has been off a bit (barring Georgia) but we did manage to blow out the likely West Champion.

Exactly. What McElwain has done this season is nothing short of a miracle.
Now imagine if he gets a real O line and a real QB.
