Here is how I see A&M shaping up as of right now.

Offense: Will be much more physical and will move the ball well. Should see a pretty good uptick in production over last year due to key players being a year older an more experienced. Combine this with changes in scheme in some areas and we will be good.

Defense: The defense will be better. The change in philosophy and simplified scheme will allow some of our second year and younger talent play faster and take advantage of their talent better.

Special teams: This is a huge question mark for us. Our punting should be good . The field goal unit is going to be an adventure unless our kicker has learned to be more composed aver the last couple of years.

How are y'all's teams shaping up. any general observations on strength and weakness going into the season?

A&M's offense is going to be the best in the conference, IMO. 15-0.

LSU DL lacks depth but starters look good

All signs point towards Harris starting and supposedly he's played well

WR will be top tier. Just need to get it to them.

Fournette will eat

OL will be top tier

Linebackers will be pretty good

DBs are elite

I honestly think this team wins a minimum of 10 games. Schedule is pretty nice too.

Thanks for the good non trolling thread. I'll post in these.

Who do you expect to be your RBs? How are they? Big, speedy, shifty, etc.

Additionally, will Speedy be handling punt and kickoff return duties?

Offense: with the way Les has kept things zipped up during camp I'm expecting a very different looking offense that still emphasizes the run heavily. Harris takes control of the starting job and has a solid but not spectacular year

Defense: solid and tough to run or pass on, with a better pass rush. If there is an obvious weakness on this defense, it will be setting the edge. Will finish top 3 in the SEC

ST's: Outstanding punt and kick coverage, above average return game. FG's might carry over some inconsistency from last year

Defense is going to be really strong again.

Offense is a big question mark. Offensive line has really improved and we have a good group of receivers. Running backs and quarterback are the biggest question marks though.

Offense: No idea. I have no idea what the offensive identity of Bama's 2015 team will be.

Defense: Closest to 2011 D we've had, if it lives up to the hype. Best front 7 in CFB, secondary (or at least CB) is making strides. Minkah Fitzpatrick (Fitzmagic) is apparently the real deal. He was NOT an EE and is already learning multiple secondary positions and excelling in a Nick Saban secondary.

Defense has taken a leap forward from last year. Defensive ends are impressing in camp. Corners are improving and playing more physical. Chavis quote on Brandon Williams...

there aren't many players around that are more talented than him.

Understatement! Who knows with Bertolet? If he's going to miss extra points and gimme field goals again, I hope he does it early and LaCamera gets the job. But we'll see.

I'm worried about our CBs, but maybe they'll be a pleasant surprise. The rest of the defense should range from great (DL) to very good (S) to respectable (LBs, barring injury).

Auburn-

QBs-Jeremy Johnson is legit. The back up Sean White presents not much of a drop off, very accurate.Freshman Tyler Queen has also looked good.

RBs- appears Peyton Barber will beat out the three five stars to start.Tre Mason did say when at Auburn that Barber was better than him.Roc Thomas is the jet.Jovon Robinson short yard and goal line back.Kerryon Johnson will be wildcat and line up in slot. Chandler Cox likely starts over Kamyrn Pettway at HB and also be the TE he has great hands.Alot of wheel routes coming.

WR- Duke needs to grow up.Gus believes Williams,Ray,Louis will get drafted. JUCO Jason Smith and RFR playing lights out.Myron Burton likely Coates 2.0

OL- LT Coleman feels more comfortable in pass protection. All American Kozan 100 percent after missing last year.Transfer center Austin Golson returned from injury.Coaches very high on freshman Tyler Carr

DE- Auburn o line has five 5 stars and an all american,no one can block Lawson.Lambert,Harrell,Wanatago back from injury.Cowart is a man child 6 ft 5 280. Muschamp installed the hybrid buck for a 34 scheme that moves Lawson to LBer lined up behind Cowart...scary.

DT- Coaches and scouts in love with redshirt freshman Dontavious Russell.Adams in big battle to start vs juco Maurice Swain.Coaches expect Devaroe Lawrence to have a good year.

LB-Lance Thompson big get and he not short on talent with a main 5 man rotation of Frost,McKinzy,Garrett,Williams,Mitchell.Jeff Holland could make it a 6 man rotation

DB- two huge transfers and they playing lights out in Tray Matthews and Blake Countess.TJ Davis should return from acl tear. Rudy Ford has had strong spring.Stephen Roberts moved to saftey and coaches high on Carlton Davis,Jarvis Davis and Tim Irvin, nephew of Micheal Irvin.

ST-Daniel Carlson enough said and Marcus Davis and Jason Smith and Stanton Truitt likely return men

Our RBs should be Tra Carson (235lbs) and James White (220lbs). Freshman Kendall Bussey from New Orleans will also get some touches. He is more of a shifty back like Trey Williams was
