Hello Sark.

I'm very nervous about Sark for so many reasons but mainly as a human being. Him being an alcoholic in Tuscaloosa with this run bama is on is... beyond dangerous for him, his health and our offense.

Maybe, but one false move and Saban will have him pounding the street ( I think).
Too many other good coach out there that would jump at the chance.

I'm giving Saban the benefit of the doubt with the Sark situation. I thought Saban had lost his mind when he hired Kiffin, turns out he knew WTF Alabama needed to stay on top.

Me too.

I've learned by lesson after being so wrong about the Kiffin hire. Whomever Nick picks is fine with me.

Oklahoma offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley had been a candidate but pulled out Wednesday.

Rumored to be in the running for OC at Bama.

Sark had been firmly in place and has been favored, well liked and considered an upgrade from Lane by the staff.
But some personal things for him have gotten in his way and has fallen out of favor the last two weeks.

I guess Houston is jealous of SMU getting all the publicity and wants to run afoul of the NCAA now.

Lane Kiffin

I know this is the tRant and all but I think his "failures" are overstated.

He was ok at UT before he left and that fanbase was pissed because they thought he was going to be a good one.

He was ok at USC too before the sanctions really kicked in and they fell apart at the end of 2012.

Kiffin did the following:

1. Took a RB, converted him to QB and broke many passing records at Alabama his first season.
2. Took a transfer QB with little playing time and helped him complete over 70% of his passes by the end of the season. Also set all time single-season rushing record for SEC back and produced a Heisman winner.
3. Took a young true freshman and developed him into the SEC Offensive player of the year and produced the SEC's best offense.

With all that said, "Run the baww, Kiffin!"

So, does Lane stay through the playoff?

Is Sark going to stay or will he hit the bricks?

I think Houston made a pretty good hire. I think Lane has grown up a lot. If he hasn't by now then he never will, however.

I don't think that technically Kiffin is the HC at Houston. Reports are now saying that the figureheads at houston won't meet until tonight.

The fact that Saban has to chew his arse out in front of everyone and then in no uncertain words remind the press that it was an arse chewing tells me he has not grown up. He is a child because his daddy coddled him his whole life. When the dad takes a job as a coordinator so the son can get the HC job (which has happened twice) you are fricking coddling your kid. Then the son fired the dad. Talk about being born on third base. Kiffin is Sumlin 2.0 and I am going to appreciate it when he fails yet again.

He had one of the worst defenses (at least performance wise) for a considerable amount of time there. He sucked in Cali.

That's a good hire for Houston. Really good hire. I suspect some of the douche factor has worn off of Lane since Saban got a hold of him. He can recruit too. And Houston Metro certainly has plenty of talent.
