My god Applewhite is a guy who sucked as an assistant under Nick Saban!
How bad of an OC do you have to be to seem bad when you're serving under Saban? Even Nussmeier seemed like a decent OC under Saban.

Yeah, I think they could have done much better than Applewhite - guess this about who will sign the deal to stay on for awhile.

Interesting. Promote from within. But Major isn't a proven commodity.
I think Kiffin has more potential to jump to a big program after a year or two. That's been his M.O. UH has grown tired of that.
