Good data, but not formatted very well.

Not good data. You'd be much better off looking at how many make the NFL that played last year, not just SRs and early JRs.

The wins per drafted player metric is wrong. Should be the inverse of what you have there.

How is this good data? Tennessee and Vandy have the same rate or whatever you want to call this metric, and Tennessee had 7 wins and Vandy had 3 wins. Makes ZERO sense

I'm saying the hard numbers is good data as in number of wins compared to your draft picks.

But like I said it is formatted terribly and not even calculated right.

Awesome.

Congratulations, Tennessee.

I'd do it like this

Wins to draft picks +/-

Ole Miss +8
Tennessee +7
TAMU +6
Miss State +6
UGA +5
Alabama +5
Missouri +5
LSU +4
Kentucky +3
Vanderbilt +3
South Car +3
Auburn +3
Arkansas +2
Florida -1

Wait how did TN not make that -2 for the Gators

The rate is infinity for both (0 players drafted and more than 0 wins) so technically the same.

As someone pointed out, these Wins per Drafted Player metrics should be the inverse of the stated figures. If UGA averaged 0.5 wins per drafted player (as stated by OP), we would have won 2.5 games. The number should be 2.0.

The accurate picture will be painted when the entire teams from 2014 become draft eligible. Interesting analysis though.

That.

He could do it for the 2010 season as those players have all used up their eligibility, but something tells me he doesn't want to see how many draft picks it took Tennessee to get to 6 wins.

But the beauty of the thread is watching Tennessee fans brag about having no one drafted in this past NFL draft. My, how the Vols have fallen.

Only 8 total draft picks on that entire 2010 team.

That is terrible.

2011 only had 6 total...don't think anyone is left on the team from that season that could get drafted.

Tennessee fans weren't lying when they said the cupboard was empty when Butch came in. There was maybe 5 NFL players on our roster when he got here day one.

For comparison sake our 1998 team had 30 draft picks.

But wait the game of the century had 56 players. How many did Florida's 1998 team have drafted?

Is this where we check in to say that Butch Jones is the greatest coach in history to go 0-3 vs. Muschamp and Dooley? Because he clearly is.
