I liked his comments in this article. It sounded heart-felt:

Everyone in our program always had great things to say about this kid....just couldn't get himself away from that bad crowd. It still hurts he got kicked off the team, but it truly was the best thing that could of happened to him. Wish him the best of luck in the pros.

Yep. I think it's true in life that you have to have struggles to mature.

True. Many times the kids don't overcome those troubles - it's good to see the times that they do.

saw him last night on nfl total access. great interview. they asked him if he had any advice for josh gordon. TM pretty much said its up to Gordon. Gordon has to accept the hands reaching out to pull him up. Until he admits that he has a problem and needs help it doesn't matter how many people hold out a hand.

He could make for a very good motivational speaker. His story is very well known so people will certainly take what he says to heart. Definitely good to see him doing well. Going to Arizona was probably the biggest blessing of all for him to have Patrick Peterson there and be away from all the Louisiana distractions.

he can thank Patrick Peterson. He told the Cardinals to go after Mathieu and he would make sure he helped him straighten up. looks like a win on all sides.

yep. He got out when he had to. I wanted to see him in purple in gold but there is a bigger picture in life than a game.

Crazy how easy he makes it look even in the NFL. Nobody can get a football from somebody like Honey Badger.

About a month ago rehab (knee) reports were very encouraging. He expects to be in fall camp full speed.
