Honestly sounds like some LSU Admins purposely sabotaged Herman chances

Possible that some of the admins really liked Orgeron or they didn't think Herman was a good fit for the SEC.

I really thought if Texass wanted him they would pay the money needed anyway. Does seem more likely that Orgeron backers leaked the story.

Coaches that lose to SMU are great for the other 13 teams in the sec

You're right. HornDigest.com is all up in the LSU admin.

That is part of it. The timing of the leak was about as bad as it could have been for LSU. Most LSU fans were pissed about it last night. Possible that it came from Herman's agent. If that was the case he was just using LSU to get a better deal from Texass.

Not sure where the info came from but it was first reported in Hornsdigest last night and everyone else picked up on it. On the LSU board they are saying Orgeron has been meeting with Aleeva today. Seems a bit odd after getting back late last night. Seems obvious Aleeva is trying to get a handle on this and circle the wagons.

Also earlier this morning the Times Picayune was saying they had multiple sources that were saying Herman would be announced as LSU coach.

A lot of stuff out there. If LSU is locking down Orgeron right now then he has plenty of support. Admins and boosters leak stuff to help or hurt. LSU admins damn sure aren't going to leak stuff like that directly to an LSU site.

Aggies need to worry about their own program. And to stop making comments about something they know nothing about.

Tigahs...you gotta be careful what you wish for. Herman is just a version of Sumlin 2.25 and he runs gimmicky offense and you will be thrilled by 55 passes a game but chilled losing games 51-34.

Trick plays and fake punts only get you so far in the SEC and then you have big boy football slam the door in your face. Ensminger (sp) runs a great offense and mixes power run game with play action passes. Thats how you win. The weak conferences are playgrounds for finesse teams.

Dude come on, coming from an Aggie. This was all Texas and ESPN helping them get their guy.

Do I need to link my post from earlier showing why this is an utterly ridiculous statement?

He has shown a balanced offense with an elite running back (Elliot). I have faith that he will maximize LSUs offensive talent.

Another possibility. I admit this could be part of it also. They are some sneaky fricks.

His offense at Houston averaged 33 & 38 attempts per game in 2015 & 2016, respectively. At tOSU from 2012-2014 they averaged 23, 26 & 27 attempts per game.

However, according to the brilliant insight on this board, he would come into the SEC and starting throwing it 50+ every game.
