is pounded by the NCAA. Look at UNC, Auburn, OSU, and etc. They were ignored or slapped on the wrist. i think the key to whether or not ole miss is hammered is the media. The media did a full court press on USC and they were punished. (Somewhat). Big money power 5 schools have a get out of jail card ...to an extent. ....good luck blackbears...you might need it.

You're like the 10th person to start a similar thread- congrats.

Guess what some people agree with you and some think otherwise- shocking!!!

I would agree if Tunsil is through talking. If all that they have is what we see, I don't see how the NCAA could do much with that.

The X factor though is if in fact, his entire iCloud account was hacked, then Ole Miss really doesn't know what they can deny that might come back to bite them in the arse. I do not know whether or not that happened but saw some speculation that it is plausible. I just don't understand this guy's motive. Is it to get Tunsil or is it to get Ole Miss?

Its obviously to get Ole miss. The whole world flips their shite when alabama loses to us. Twice made it even worse because it's easy to pass it off as a fluke one time. We really fricked up by doing it twice. We just got to delay delay delay until we play them this year and lay down on the field and let them jerk off all over our collective faces and the ncaa will leave us alone.

What did Auburn do? It was MSU that broke rules.

OSU and USC both got hit pretty hard. OSU is just in such a lousy conference and such a big fish in their recruiting world that they bounced back fine but the penalties were pretty harsh. USC struggled with sanctions and Kiffin.

UNC is a whole other ball of wax because of the types of violations and because that investigation was once thought to be closed only for more egregious violations to come to light.

OM is the kind of school the NCAA loves to make an example out of.

There will NEVER be another death penalty like SMU or the Tulane basketball team. EVER.

I think even the NCAA realizes that, as well. They will get some schollys taken and a bowl game ban.

That's it. But no death penalty.

I didn't say anything about Auburn. But, I will comment. It is not against the rules to call the SEC office and report a case of extortion where a player's dad is pimping his son.

Espn is prepared to run a documentary about how schools like bama are getting away with murder while other schools are getting bullied by the ncaa. They are waiting to see what happens if this comes to fruition. People are getting sick and tired of the ncaa and their spotty rule system. You guys like to laugh it off as if you are going to come off as angels. This is going to be bad for everyone, especially sec schools and mostly bama

Relative to what OSU did, they got off lightly and then proceeded to win a natty.
