There's nothing wrong with that.
Alabama has cemented themselves as the college football Sistine Chapel or Vatican City. Athletes want to go there. And future athletes will want to go there. Athletes will want to go there until the end of time.
Period.

You should really only rank football in this thread.
TAMU-4
Alabama -4 (staring down the barrel of the death penalty)
Auburn -4 (Reason - 78 and 79 are both major but were really one case, but could be 5)
Too lazy to look up the others... bottom line, judging by the number of major infractions cases does not tell the full story.

Newton didn't see any of the money and didn't lose his eligibility
Wrong. Newton did get declared ineligible by AU. The NCAA reinstated him. (like an hour later)

It was a couple days. He was declared ineligible like the day after the Georgia game and reinstated like Tuesday or Wednesday IIRC
Sorry we're boy scouts and do everything by the letter of the book

I'm shocked at the number of downvotes the OP received. It was a well written bit of prose and very true.

Right.
*Handicapped men just like to spend time taking Alabama players on nice fishing trips while picking up the tab.
*High profile Bama players pay their own way on cruise ships yet get called home upon social media discovering they are there.
*Bama players love to hang out with random old guys at their suit stores in the mall and expect nothing in return.
*Bama players all love to drive all the way to Mobile to get custom rims and pose for photos without any special deal.
*Trent Richardson's mom was able to buy her son a brand new Tahoe with her pay check from KFC.
*And all those invoices from "Sticks 'n Stuff" for Bama players' furniture were just some big mistake
Bama has never broken a rule. Never. It all just falls into place for them on its own. And by chance, somehow when they get to bama it becomes #StruggleOverWit for them and their families.
Love this post! Makes meh happy! So giddy...

You certainly are. The man loved nothing more than baiting a hook.
And cabana boys. He was very fond of cabana boys.
Top notch post as always, kills.

Now where in there does it say ANYTHING about Alabama paying ANY player?
