Do you think the LSU higher ups will read this board, see gump fan's concern for Les then decide to keep him?
I think it's gumps do not want LSU to get a young big name coach while Saban only has a couple of years left and then your program goes to shite.

Honestly, Les isn't the cream of the crop... but I don't see y'all hiring anybody any better. Les Miles is the new Mark Richt... you'll just have to gamble and roll the dice if you think you'll win.

Same reason everyone wanted us to keep Mike Shula. Why frick up a good thing? I have a lot of respect for Les. He is a hell of a coach and I have never heard a bad thing about him as a person. If he isn't cutting it, then maybe lsu should make a change. What we want or don't want doesn't matter. LSU will still be LSU with or without Les.

We've been fine before Saban. Of course there's a pretty high chance that we'll lose more after he's gone, but we've done pretty well for the most part.
