Honest question, do you know anything about Dabo Swinney?

I'm not convinced he'll come to Alabama, but he loves Alabama as much as anybody in America. That's not really debatable, and isn't debated by anyone who has ever known him.

Orgeron. He will have won like 2 Natty's by then so would be a valid candidate for Alabama to hire

This is just weird. I've never seen anyone argue that Dabo Swinney has neutral feelings towards Alabama. This is a first.

Just saying his hate for Auburn doesn't outdo his love for Clemson, which your arguement was based on, retard.

Just ignore him, he'll go away soon. It's past his bedtime.

He loves Alabama too, that's my point.

I've literally argued 3 times in this thread that I think he stays at Clemson because of what he has built and his roots there. Never once did I argue that he "loved Alabama more than Clemson". Not once.

No. your point was that he hates Auburn EVEN MORE THAN YOU, therefore he would love to join the Crimson Tide coaching staff seconds after Saban leaves.

Nah. Dad drank too many beers and passed out before dinner.

Mom is in the garage in the car with "Uncle" Johnny.

Nobody even knows I'm up!

Don't stay up too late, but I'm giving you this round. Daves doesn't know when to just throw in the towel.

Dabo is one of the biggest gumps on earth. He got in a fist fight with a guy when he was younger for bad mouthing Alabama

Yeh, he would definitely jump at the chance, but I'm not sure it would be a smart move on his part either.

Dabo is on record as saying the only job he would consider leaving Clemson for is Alabama, so I think I believe him over a message board poster. Now that does not mean he would leave but it certainly means he has interest.

John Harbaugh would be my pick if it were today. Just as good of a coach as his brother, IMO, but without all the weirdness. Who knows in 5 or however many years it is, though? So many changes will have occurred in that time that the landscape will likely be completely different.

Dabo loves Alabama. It is his home and school. But Clemson is his masterpiece. He can can get just about anything he wants and Clemson would have to fall off in such a horrible way for several of years before the fans got impatient.

Could he go to Bama?...Sure. I see him as more of the next Bobby Bowden or Frank Beamer type of guy that will stay with the program. But how knows? I couldn't hate a guy for going home..especially since he brought Clemson the National title. Also, He has kids in school and I doubt he would make a move before they are finished.

If I was a guessing person, I think Dabo would more likely move into the Ministry when he feels that he has finished his time at Clemson. If anyone has seen a Dabo interview, he wears his faith on his sleeve and that move would not surprise me either.

I would rather replace Saban's successor rather than Saban...That guy will be on the hot seat day one.
