How do you have the capacity to do that yet you usually finish behind LSU & Ole Miss in the avg attendance?

Are you sure about that? Because UGA had the 2nd largest crowd today to ever see a college baseball game. Seems unlikely the only game to ever top it would be on the very same day.

Because LSU is in a major metro area and has much higher midweek attendance normally, Same deal with Oxford and Memphis which is where they have a huge alumni base.

Starkville is just a bit remote for week night games or early season series against SWAC teams.

However the top 13 and 15 of the top 16 crowds "on campus" in NCAA history were in Starkvegas.

Yes I went, and like 90+ % of the people there was only there to see the new ballpark considering how bad we suck.

-The size is MUCh better for the braves, turner field was simply way too large. This one is a lot more intimate
-The bathroom I went to (might be different elsewhere, idk) only had 3 hand dryers and no towels, which seems logistically retarded considering how many dudes are going to be in there at once
-I sat on the 1st baseline in the lower level in the shade underneath the overhang, so I had zero view of the main scoreboard in centerfield. Not that big a deal on the face of it, but the smaller board in left field and all the ribbon boards didn't have game info on it. So I literally had no idea the balls/strikes/outs/inning/score the entire game. I assume that's just because it's a college game and still a dry run and will probably be different for the braves, but it was annoying.
-None of the standalone beer kiosks took cards, also annoying.

I know I'm harping on mostly negatives here, but I was in kind of a bad mood when I got there anyway. It's a good ballpark to watch a game, and I assume the bugs will get worked out in short order. It didn't help that we are awful at baseball.

Yeah, op is a dumbass

And technically, some lsu/tulane games in the superdome or zephyr field had more. Not on tulanes campus but close enough. Only reason they moved was demand for tickets

I doubt we are behind OM. They always overinflate numbers so they probably go off sales and not actual attendance.

Yeah, every College World Series game at TD Ameritrade Park beats State's "on campus" record.

TD Ameritrade Park has a seating capacity of 24,000, with the ability to expand to 35,000 spectators

You're always accusing us of being the only ones that do this.

Everyone goes off of sales.
