My personal favorites are of Derrick Thomas in his days at Alabama. God what a fricking shame that he died. Can't imagine him being interviewed now and telling stories of his days at Bama.
Penn State- 3 sacks, 9 QB hurries, and a safety. Bama won 8-3
Texas A&M- Famous "Hurricane Game". DT recorded 7 tackles for loss, fumble recovery, and 2 sacks. Bama won 30-10
Michigan. Can't find stats, but Bama lost 28-24
Notre Dame. Can't find stats, but Bama won. Believe this game was the game Cornelius Bennet had the famous "sack"

Yeah, I love the series. Would gladly trade Wofford/Furman/Citadel for them. Would boost OOC and be a big recruiting battle.

Agreed... I actually was really on board with the idea that we do a periodic replacement of the G-Day game with an exhibition game between UGA/Clemson that Dabo mentioned off hand a few years back (2010?). Felt like it could be a really cool idea... agree upon time on field for 1st string, second string, etc... no live kick offs to avoid injuries but otherwise, putting 1s against 1s and see who's really ready to contribute.
