Hire Peyton in some capacity at Tenn, you'll get better

Peyton is bored, and Tenn has nothing to lose. Manning couldn't bring a championship to Tenn but he helped recruit the players who did.

Payton needs to be a coach or he will hate his life before too long.

He won the 1997 SEC championship. Do we still count those?

No, LSU fans only worry about Natties which is why they hired Coach O.

Manning has nothing to gain here.

Who's they? Fans got no vote at LSU

Well we've won 2 natties since the last time UT was relevant

How so? "Uhhh...Hello there, my homeboys, how does the idea of coming here and getting your shite pushed in by Florida on an annual basis sound? Well, awww shucks, come on ... OMAHA ... it's tea-bagging time!"

Tenn's crazy to not hire Manning in some capacity.

Peyton should just have a boy every four years so Tennessee can have a chance at championships 20 years from now

I know. That kind of success delivers a big time hire like Orgeron, which was my point.

Didn't know Saban was a bigtime hire for LSU, took a few losses and embarrassments, then a national title to find out.

He's never coached. What evidence is there that he would be worth a damn?

Peyton read defenses better than anybody in the NFL. It's a talent and a name recognition he brings. No greater name than Manning.

He would go insane watching whoever the QB is not be able to do what he's telling him to. The Spurrier grump face.

Peyton is rich and if Peyton isn't good it would be really really awkward to be put in the position to fire arguably the most legendary player in the program's history

This the 4th thread you’ve started about Peyton Manning in the past 2 days. 3 of the 4 also involved Alabama.
Weird and sad.
Weird and sad.

He is currently helping with the next hire, so he's already helping.
