Hill haunted of Bama?

"It haunts me all the time," Hill said of last year's 21-17 loss to the Crimson Tide.
Jeremy Hill is averaging 7.2 yards per carry this season for LSU.
The Tigers had a chance to run out the clock and put the game away, but a 3-yard loss from the Alabama 29 with about 2:30 left still troubles Hill.
"If I had just gotten maybe 4 or 5 [yards[, it might have changed the complexion of the game," said Hill, who rushed for 107 yards in the game. "I was trying to do way too much.
"You can't do those kinds of things on Alabama. They're way too well coached, way too assignment sound. So it's just getting what's there. If it's 3 yards on a play, take that 3."

Well considering he ran for 100+ yards on Bama and didn't get the W yea I'm sure its haunted and made him hungry.

I always see LSU fans act like he did SO good, he had 3.69 YPC.
Lacy had 7.55
Yeldon had 6.91
Oh, and Bama is getting MORE yards per carry this year than last year. Good luck.

LSU will have to do better than 2.8 per rush. That won't beat Bama.

also Russel Shepard had a 7.3 YPC average, so by your logic he had a better game than Yeldon?

He didn't play shitty, but he wasn't that good. He was probably slightly above average compared to what other backs were doing. He just didn't run all over Bama like some of you seem to think.

A lot of you act like he did something amazing. Really he just had enough carries to produce that yardage. A lot of guys would get the same yardage with a weak YPC if they didn't have to throw to keep up with Bama, or if they could throw well enough to sustain drives. Hill played ok, but some LSU fans overrate his performance. He's a lot better this year.
