Second, I don't give A frick about "politically correct". "Politically" is an adverb. An adverb is a word that modifies an adjective (or a verb, or another adverb). The adjective here is "correct." The phrase in question is "politically correct".

To modify means to change. "Correct" is one of those adjectives that DOES NOT allow degrees. Big, bigger, and biggest is an example of an adjective that exhibits degrees. "Correct" does NOT exhibit degrees. A thing is either correct or it is not correct. It is true or it is false. "Correct" is the type of adjective that we must consider as binary: it is off or on, it is or it isn't. There is no such thing as "more correct" nor "less correct". A thing is correct or it isn't.

"Politically" is an adverb. It modifies. It changes.

"Correct" is an adjective. It doesn't exhibit degrees. A thing is correct or it isn't correct. There is no more nor less. It either is or it isn't.

When "correct" is changed then it is incorrect. It is false. It is incorrect.

"Politically correct" means false, a lie.
