Y'all beat us fair and square. I wish we had won, but it is what it is. Notre Dame doesn't stand a chance.

That said, I can't find any possible justification for that hit on Murray. Yes, the play was still going on, but he was not attempting to make a play. Dial targetted him and Bama knows it.

It didn't have an affect on the outcome, but it was a trashy play.

Hope yall dont need Dial for the championship.

It was a legal block. When you have a chance to take a LEGAL hit on the qb, you take advantage. Why not?

He became a tackler.

Whoever hit him was a blocker.

Blocker lead with shoulder.

Don't be a pussy about it.

Murray was not even close to being a tackler

what does a Georgia fan know about trashy play?!

Under Richt Georgia averages 10 penalties per game. Undisciplined fricks.

He was a defender and therefore a potential tackler.

Why wasn't Murray RUNNING to the Bama player who took his ball trying to get it back?
Lollygagging POS.

Actually he's looking at the runner and preparing to step in front of him about 5 yards away

He threw an interception and was jogging toward the play. He got blocked.

It was a helmet-to-helmet and should have been called so take issue with that, don't take issue with the fact that Dial took a shot when it was legal to do so.

Murray was fixing to lay the frick out that dude, what are you talking about? Yeah he might have been half-arse jogging, but I'm sure he would of went into a straight sprint once he got closer. Dial had no choice but to block him IMO.

Whatever. No objective person looked at that play and thought it was clean. In the NFL, that's a fine.

Like I said, it didn't affect the outcome. Bama beat us. I just thought that play was malicious.

Because Murray was trying to time it right to step in front of him. He's a qb, he can't chase down a guy and make a form tackle, the best he can hope to do is step in front and dive at him which is what qb's are coached to do in that situation.

Football is a pretty malicious sport last time I checked.

Could've been flagged, wasn't. Dwi.

dude, I will call foul when it is foul, but Dial's shoulder hit Murray first.

If you say no then your eyes doth deceive you.

I hate dirty play regardless of what team does it.
