last year in the Atmore/TR Miller game, Atmore was driving with less than 30 seconds left and coaches wanted him to spike the ball on 3rd down. He runs up and takes a knee. He then hurries up on 4th down and calls hike and spikes the ball and they lose. I hope he does go to Bama.

Woodson started against SoMiss. If I remember he led the team on a touchdown drive on BAMA's first possession. Stallings then put in different units on second possession, drive fizzled, then Woodson back in. Game went downhill from there. I know Brett Farve was SoMiss's QB and he had just gotten out of the hospital from intestinal surgury. Farve didnt exactly light BAMA up that day. I think he only threw for something like 140 yds. I cant remeber who was Woodson's back up that day. I want to say Barker was but was that a year before Jay Barker? Cant quite recall. Sure I59 might or someone else. I do know that Woodson didnt make it through the season without being dismissed from the team.

Barker was a Freshman in '91, Woodson's second year as the starting QB. He wound up taking the job from Woodson that year. It was just sad that no one could take the job from him in '90.

Walter Lewis was an all-SEC quarterback that played for Bama from 1980-83.
