He is waiting for the Texas job

He's just biding his time until Texas opens up

Yup. We're definitely the laughingstock of the conference this season, and for the foreseeable future.

Or his agent is trying to get the current teams to pay more.

Why would UGA risk losing Eason and the rest of that class by firing Richt?
If they didn't have a guy like Herman ready to take the job?
Is Eason going to stay committed to a defensive coach and possibly the second coming of Will Muschamp in Kirby Smart?
I was just wondering aloud.

UGA's problems this past season were offense, not defense. I've heard that Napier might be Smart's choice at OC, and he didn't do amazing at Clemson.

You don't run a program based on recruits.

Think he is going to wait and see who is hired and come on his official and see.

I agree, but if Eason is a difference maker you might want to consider it.
I mean look what Tebow meant to UF, and Cam meant to Auburn?

For every Tebow and Cam there are Tons of John Brantley/Jeff Driskell types that never live up the hype. So again, you can't make decisions based on hypothetical.

Look at what Richt did with Stafford and Murray, nothing. Why would Eason be any different?

Good point. Good Luck UGA.
Do you guys see Muschamp being Kirby's D coordinator?

This sucks. I wanted Kirby at a place that could hire him later if he's successful. Top SEC schools need to quit hiring our top former assistants.
