Posted on AuburnUndercover following Reuben Foster's commitment to Auburn.
quote:
History will show that the flip of Rueben Foster to Auburn will go down as the single-most important event in changing the perception of the little/big brother roles in college football in the state of Alabama. Mainly because of what this manchild beast will do inside Jordan-Hare Stadium and the publicity that has surrounded the flip (press conference, tattoo, etc.). Not to mention the laundry list of fellow defensive recruits that are salivating at a chance to play with this wrecking ball on the field.
This guy's magnetism and mentality are no different that Cam's. Both are once in a generation players and we'll have had them in Orange in Blue in a span of four years. I've never seen a time in which truly informed Alabama fans, not the toothleess Wal-Mart Muldykes, have been in such anxiety and agony over the direction of the Auburn Football program. I love every second of it, and they see what's happening and can't do anything about it.
When you treat your players as family members and they play for you out of respect and admiration, things like 28-27 happen. When you have players that fear their coach, see rampant gray-shirting, bogus medical departures and wonder if they will have their scholarship the following year, things like a 24-0 complete meltdown implosion against your hated rival happen. It all starts at the top and CGC will go down as a legendary coach in college football history, not just Auburn history, Book It.
I tell all of the Bammers without hesitation that CGC will win more national championships at Auburn than Satan will at UTea. If you hook me up to a polygraph while saying it, I would pass because that's how much I believe it to be true. The perception of Auburn Football in-state and on a national level is changing. September 1st is about to open the country's eyes as to what tenacious Auburn football is all about, and I can't wait to watch the look on little dabo's face. These are great times to be an Auburn Tiger. A dynasty is in the making, and if you don't see it, you don't have a clue. War Damn Chizik and War Damn Eagle.

Frick the barn and every single one of their fans.

Looking back on it we really didn't miss out on anything, and that's a knock on our coaches ability and not his. He was just really raw and needed to learn how to be a LB and not a missile. He would have turned out like Eltoro Freeman. A guy that could knock the hell out of you but had no clue what was going on. Although I would have enjoyed seeing him on special teams.

Yea, you are probably right actually. He has worked his arse off to figure things out, and by figure things out I don't just mean the defense I also mean how to tackle without hurting himself.
He is a really good linebacker now, but it took a solid 2+ years to make him into one.

Wonder what that poster is up to these days.

That was like 2 predicted Auburn dynasties and 3 predicted fallen Alabama dynasties ago.

Damn this dude was really feeling it at that moment. I'd hate to see the book he wrote after his first dip into a jay jay.

You guys didn't need him, you had a gritty, coachable, coach on the field type already who was making all the plays

All are accurate descriptions of him. Which shows just how untalented he was.

You searched back through two years worth of posts to find that?
Dude, your team has wrapped up the West, has a Heisman favorite at RB, arguably the best defense in college football over the past decade, looks to be poised to win the SEC, and play for the National Championship. And instead of focusing on that you're digging up posts from 2013 to take a jab at Auburn? You're not an Alabama fan, you're just an Auburn hater.

It's like the Jedi prophecy. They all thought Anakin would bring balance to the force towards the Jedi, when in reality he balanced it out by contributing to the rise of the Sith.

Could Holland not take out his mouthpiece for that photo with the coach?

No one who ever met Radio believed that.
Has Saban taught him to read yet?
