So I guess we've got you guys this week, I've always enjoyed our battles. I heard you got some Monk guy, hopefully his shooting will be off due to wanting to beat his home state so bad.
Other than that this should be a pretty good game, I hope we can hang in there til the end but not convinced just yet. We're definitely getting better and by tourney time should be able to hang but you never know, we've never had a team scared to win at Rupp.

This might have been worth it in 1994.

A single digit loss would be impressive the way UK is rolling.

Sure don't see it being too close but stranger things have happened.

Monk will either have a massive game or go cold. I don't see any in between on this one.

They looked much better defensively against A&M, so hopefully that's starting to come together after Camp Cal. How's your transition defense, baw?

This I agree with and he'll probably have a massive game. All that being said, I think we'll take the Louisville game approach but being in Rupp hopefully we'll keep it close. Who knows MA has made some of your freshman teams speed up and play to fast. How do you compare this team to previous couple of teams.

If he tries to do that with this team he'll get run out of the gym with his own medicine. Now UCLA did that, but UCLA is a better team than Arkansas and even that went to the wire.

This team has struggled defensively compared to others in the past. But I think it's an issue of trying to find balance with their offensive identity in running teams into the ground with their speed. They're getting there, it's usually the other way around for Cal's teams.

Your speed is dangerous but hopefully we can hang, we'll see.

Yea I agree, Kentucky is one of the best fast break teams I've seen in the past few years. They get down the floor so quick. I'm hoping Mike runs 2-2-1 press to slow the cats down and have a glue guy on Monk the whole time to disrupt him. Either way, I'll be happy to stay within 10-15 points of UK. I wish we played you guys at Bud Walton Arena this year.
