1)black is one of our 2 official colors, unlike UT and gray. The black is a "gimmick" as much as LSU's purples.
2)we're 2-1 in black jerseys. UT has never one in the grays to my knowledge.

i don't think they're bad at all. i'm not a big fan of orange, but the classic UT uniforms look great. i hate they screwed with the stripes on the pants/helmets, trying way too hard on that. but these greys really need to go, they're horrible
