Our conference is lucky to have two of the best running backs in the country this year. Both are unbelievable.

Henry 1797 yards 6.1 yds./carry (295 attempts) 22 touchdowns

Fournette 1741 yards 6.4 yds./carry (271 attempts) 18 touchdowns

Henry finally passed Fournette last night in yards and has closed the yards per carry amount significantly in the past few weeks.

SEC records:

Henry can pass Walker (1891 yards) next week if he has a good game. Actually both Henry and Fournette can - in LESS attempts (Walker carried the ball ALOT in less games). Bo's '85 year is the most impressive with similar attempts and yards (278 attempts for 1786).

Henry can also tie Tebow and Tre Mason in all time TDs (23) with one more.

I'm old. I actually remember watching Walker and Bo play. Both Henry and Founette SHOULD be mentioned in the same breath - they both dominate and are just as good. They both pass the eye test and are running against much stronger and athletic defenses. Can you imagine these guys running the ball in the 80s?

Oops - take out the "are"

Your Bama ilk won't like this but it's the truth. Henry has been outstanding this year, and Fournette was very good, but struggled down the stretch.

Scary thing is Fournette will be back next season and will surpass 4,000 yards and 40 TDs in only 3 years.

One good season does not equal 3. Henry is not even close to the Herschel/Bo conversation.

Just the fact that he is going to beat Walker's record next week on 70 or so less carries put's him in the conversation with them. Not his fault that those two teams had no other options for 3-4 years and he had to wait his turn. Greatness is not a longevity award. Cam only played one year but if folks are honest, most people on here will admit he was the greatest single player for one season they have seen.

Henry is in the same conversation as Ingram, Richardson, Lacy, and Yeldon. Any of those RBs would win the Heisman this year.

What's crazy is Fournette may break the record this year as well. With the evolution of the passing game, what are the chances that two players break Walker's record in the same year?

I never thought anyone would if Dmac didn't, let alone two in the same year.

Don't you realize what you said is part of the reason Walker was so great?? Every team they played knew UGA had no other option, yet he still got his yards.

Also, I'm sorry but greatness is about more than 1 season. If you are going to compare this season to Herschels best, then you have to compare all 3. You don't get to pick and choose. Walker had an unreliable career. Henry will finish with 1 great year. They are not the same, any reasonable person can see that.

So, if Fournette breaks his record you will not deny that he is tGOAT?

Again, you can't fault a kid for waiting his turn instead of transferring out to play like every other pussy arse kid does nowadays. Not his fault he played behind a couple of other good backs.
