Three SEC players just outside the top 5 but seem to be making moves and could have a strong finish with upcoming games.

J Allen(UA)6th
LF7(LSU) 7th
J Hurts (UA) 8th

If LF7 has a 100+ yard game against Bama, he will be in the top 5. If he goes off anywhere close to what he did against Ole Miss, he will be #1.

This unless he has a catastrophic fall off the rest of the season.I would still love to see Fournette get invited though.

I think if LF7 finishes strong he could end up in NY but I do not see him beating out Jackson unless LSU wins the SEC and LF7 was the reason. Jackson is this years RGIII.

Lamar Jackson could not play another down this season and still win the Heisman.

Dude has been responsible for somewhere between 30 and 40 TD's already this season.

Fournette literally cannot pass Lamar Jackson. He has a 3 game handicap on one of the best season sever in the modern era. He could get 2nd though.

Same thing was said about Fournette at this time last year. Crazy things happen in November.

Does Fournette really deserve an invite after missing 3 games and having another cancelled. He'll only have 8 games on his resume this year.

They were comparing Allen to Suh and through 8 games Allen is even or ahead of him and Suh finished the season I think they said with 1 Int and no return yards where Allen already has 2 TDs and 105 returns yards.

He would need a Henry type of November to pull it off, no doubt about it. Can it happen, sure, will it more than likely not. What will help him this year against Alabama is how much our offense has changed in 3 games.

Jackson has about 10x the lead Fournette had at this time.

Considering the line-up LSU has to play in Nov and if LSU wins the SECCG in Atlanta which for all that to happen it will be because of LF7 I see no way he would not get invited to NY. Heisman voters for the most part are starting to watch all the candidates and November is going to be a big time stage for LF7.

The award is for the best player, not the best stats. If people cannot see he is the best player then they are nuts.

Lets put Jackson's season in to perspective.

He is currently on pace for 5268 yards and 60 TDs in 12 games.

2012 JFF (13 games) - 5116 yards, 47 TDs
2010 Cam (14 games) - 4327 yards, 50 TDs
2007 Tebow (13 games) - 4181 yards, 55 TDs
