Gotta have some playmakers around you with a QB

I would say top two WR groups in the league. One of the Mississippi schools has the best WR's right now, I'm not sure there is even an argument to be made against it.

Please tell me you're joking. MSU probably isn't better than 4th at the WR position, but to say there isn't an argument than can be made is just idiotic. Tennessee, A&M, and LSU all have amazing receiving corps (whoops) as well.

We return over 80% of our receiving yards and 9 players who caught TD passes. DeRunnya Wilson is one of the best in the league and had 9 TD's last year, most of which were down the stretch as he improved. Our 3 returning starters averaged 14.5, 16.3, and 16.6 yards per catch last season.

There are a lot of playmakers coming back, I don't see anyone other than maybe Ole Miss matching us at receiver. Dak's Heisman odds hinge on his defense, he isn't winning it if we don't win 10 games, that's why his odds aren't higher than they are.

Why?

he's the best QB of the bunch.. and Ohio St is going to run multiple QBs this season. Not to mention that they are a running team.. and TCU threw for almost 4k yards last season.

I don't see it. He's a system QB. Dak had one more TD and threw for a higher percentage. While playing in the SEC. I think it's probably Barrett's to lose but I don't see Boykin walking out with it.

And what does this have to do with anything? One can argue that Tim Tebow, Cam Newton, Johnny Manziel & Marcus Mariota were all system quarterbacks too. That didn't prevent them from winning the Heisman. Boykin made a huge jump from 2013 to 2014 so I don't see any reason as to why his numbers shouldn't continue on an upward trend. Also, what defense in the Big XII is going to slow down that TCU offense?

And Dak isn't a system QB? How many times does Dak start in the shotgun?

Now count on one hand the amount of times he's lined up in an I formation outside of 4th and short or goal line formations.

Still not one finger up right?

Exactly!

WRU has eleven players returning with TD catches (not counting transfers like Ralph David Abernathy).

100% of receiving production returning plus stud Frosh Preston Williams.

North, Pearson, Pig, Malone, Josh Smith, Croom, Preston, Wolf, etc.

Jeremy Johnson is the best backup QB on a team to lose their last four games vs. BCS conference teams in history.

Jeremy has a NFL arm, should have probably started last season. Surprising that he would get this much hype from non-Auburn folks. We certainly believe he is the real deal. Has only started 2 games, but has looked great. Our offense will be much improved this year.
