I have a hard time wrapping my head around the general Arkansas message on this board.

Nutt hung 3 banners and finished his time with more conference wins than losses, his people talk like he is terrible.

Bert has scattered a small handful of conference wins across the latter half of 2.5 seasons and ppl say he is outstanding.

Same school, same talent base to draw from. What makes Bert better than HDN? bc I can't think of one single thing.

HDN was the greatest coach in the history of Razorback athletics. That is in any sport.

HDN won with someone else's stocked roster and then had a few generational type players on one team and won nothing. stfu.

Tell ya what...let's reopen this thread the next time either LSU or Ole Miss scores on Arkansas.

LSU fans...you can also revisit it when Fournette reaches double digit yards (career) against Arkansas.

Until then...scurry back under those rocks boys.

He wouldn't have lost to Toledo, I know that.

He kicked arse in LR.

They're cut from the same thread and will probably wind up with close to the same overall record when it's all said and done.

That's assuming Saban leaves and the Gumps go late 90s Early 2000s again.

they just can't deal with the fact that they hired another shitty coach and this one can't win games. The last one was a pervert. Nutt won games and they don't appreciate it at all which is sad bc HDN is a genuinely good guy who loves Arkansas.

when your biggest accomplishment in 2.5 years of sec play is beating a down lsu team at home, things aren't going well. at all

That's because Bert doubled his career SEC victory total with his performance this season. That's production, right there!

As an Ole Miss fan I don't like defending Nutt. But he did have the ability to coach at times and when you look back at his career he did have his fair share of successes.

Yup. Bert, as a first-year head coach, beat Nutt's best team ever.

His people?

I was glad when Nutt left and am still glad he's not here. Bert- I'll admit I'm uncertain of but I'm sure he gets one more season regardless of what I think.

Feelings for Nutt really have no bearing on feelings for Bert. For example, everyone knows that Saban is a much much much much much much much better coach than Les but the fans go on supporting their team, right?
