He doesn't say it, but rumor has always been if he committed for 2-3 years then he would be getting a DC he was confident in. Muschamp,Pelini,Ellis Johnson all being rumored.

Damnit man. Spurs is going to Bobby Bowden himself. I hate it for him.

Maybe. I think he feels like we can fix our main problems. Our DLine was beyond terrible and we have help on the way. He will still be able to score points. One down year after winning 11 three times in a row isn't quite like Bowden...yet.

How many kids does he have on the payroll?

South Carolina will recover next year.

Good for him and USC.

My hate for USCe is renewed

I know. But he's so stubborn he'll not want to quit until you may be forced to fire him. I never wanted to see him lay down the visor like that.
Bobby Bowden was a recruiting punch line at the end. I just don't want to see Spurrier end up anywhere near that level of joke.
I'm not digging at USC at all. I still root for the old man when not playing UF.

He must not have got the call from Foley that I was hoping for.

Glad to hear he's staying, Spurrier is awesome. Is he gonna spend a little more time in the office this offseason or is it golf as usual?

Legit question, who will be your QB, RB and OL next year?
Seems like a lot of losses on O to be really confident.
D should improve but will be counting on a ton of newcomers for the improvement.
I think it is a two year rebuild to be back competing for the SEC.

Hopefully ... it depends on the moves he makes with some of his staff IMHO, but hopefully, I mean I hope you're right.
Couldn't be any worse than this season ... hopefully.
I'm a very hopeful fan right now.

I'm going to Atlanta. Will you be among the five Mizzou supporters this year?

This is great news. He's Butch's b!tch.

If we recover next you to the 9-10 win stage, he won't be a Bobby Bowden.
However, another 6-6 year...
