Still no Buckeye schedule posted.
Ya know Displaced, I'd probably be embarrassed to post it, too.

The NCAA method? That's even more pathetic.

It really is. And it only got brought up because Ohio State dude brought up schedules. Its also relevant to this thread vis a vis Urban Meyer taking an easier path in the Big 10.
Its not to take anything away from OSU beating Bama straight up in the playoff. That happened.

If only Urban had tGOAT heart.
Posted on 8/28/15 at 11:21 pm to ChiTownBammer
I responded to someone else that brought up schedules. Ohio State's schedule didn't help Bama last year, and it won't help this year if Bama finally gets past ULM.

Here's my thing with Urban. He provided instant success to shitty programs...and then LEAVES. I think Urban Meyer provides such an instant impact is because at what schools he was at originally (Utah and Bowling Green) played shitty schedules and played in shitty conferences. Both teams had seen better days, yes, but ultimately, he's never inherited a team on sanctions, a pro team, or had to deal with a conference that shows its teeth every week. Even at OSU, the latter remains true.
In fact, speaking of #1 teams, I think you fail to remember that Nick Saban beat a #1 OSU team in the late 90's IN The Horseshoe.
Michigan State, LSU, Alabama, Toledo, Miami Dolphins. I want you to tell me their record the year before of everyone of those teams prior to his arrival. All of them sucked arse and he either turned them into powerhouses or at least made them half way decent to the point of where they could have continued success.
Really there is no definite way to define Nick Saban and Urban Meyer comparatively since they're 2-2 vs. each other. They've all taken a good bit of their programs to the pinnacle, but with me being biased, I have just one thing to show you.
Urban Meyer's best team he's ever had talent wise got murdered on national television by Nick Saban and Alabama, to the point where they didn't score in the second half with 3 AAs on offense and a defense that had all 22 of the previous year's 2 deep coming back.
Urban Meyer pussed out when he realized he wasn't the alpha male in the SEC anymore.

tUrban can't be tGOAT. GOATS don't lie to get out of Florida when they see their time has ran out... they are incapable of such advanced psychological bullshite.

He could become it very quickly. The guy is pure and simply a winner. His turn around at BG was insane, he was the original BCS buster, and he wins no matter what. Most Gator fans hate him, but I don't. Guy had a lot of reasons to leave from what I've heard(and no, it wasn't Saban). He needed to leave Florida. He made mistakes, and lost control. Needed to restart somewhere.

He's a Tulane fan. When did Bama play Tulane?

Is he confirmed as only a Tulane fan? I know that's the logo by his name but that doesn't necessarily mean squat around here for various reasons. He might have attended Tulane but cheers for LSU. My comment assumed that he cheers for an SEC team. I'm not familiar with him personally or his post history. If you are and you know something I don't, then there you go.

Urban's a good coach. I'd still choose Saban though. He has worked out good for us.
