Have Aggy posters admitted that their 2013-14 defense isn't more talented?

This was a major talking point leading up to the season and even a few games in they still said it was more talented. Have you guy admitted it to yourselves?

This is a situation where experience trumps talent.

The defensive line is more physically talented than last year as a whole, but woefully inexperienced.

The linebackers are less talented and less experienced

The secondary is more talented and experienced.

The major anomaly is turnover margin.

A&M has forced 2+ turnovers in all but the Alabama game, and only committed 5 on the year.

At this point last year, they had forced 6 and committed 7. Right now, they've forced 10 and committed 5.

Well most of your fellow affixes swore this year's defense was far more talented than last year's team.

But you are using projected talent. You're using their star rankings as recruits.

There were also lsu fans that swore we wouldn't take a step back on defense either.

I can't speak for anyone who may have said that our defense was more talented--I certainly never made that claim--but I'm completely willing to admit that our defense leaves much to be desired.

The takeaways are kind of a head scratcher. We will see how they do now that the meat of the schedule is here.

I think we have more overall talent than last year but it is woefully offset by inexperience just my opinion

A&M now leads the SEC in turnover margin at 18th nationally (+1/game)

I don't know how the hell Texas is tied for 12th, but we'll pass them after Saturday.

Please reference the threads where Aggies said our defense was going to be more talented

Have LSU fans finally admitted that LSU has lost to every good team it has played this year?

Our defense is more talented except for the LB position. Talent does not necessarily translate to success.

Is it possible to be more talented, yet less successful? How can you not see the difference?
