Has this board sufficiently discussed Georgia being crushed yesterday?

Did the SEC West Champions banner distract them somehow?

Nope. Of course the team that crushed them will do the same to yours, so I wouldn't crow too much

It was weird being there. I'm not used to watching OM being that much better than a team like UGA. They were physically dominated, out-schemed, outmatched, you name it. Had the vibe of the Wofford game in the second half when all the scrubs got some action.

I will say that every Georgia fan I interacted with in the stadium was a class act.

OM's offense when playing consistent is easily the most explosive in cfb y'all didn't play up to your potential against FSU and shot yourselves in the foot against bama. Kudos to bama for scoring off turnovers though, we played like dog shite man.

Probably not. Such an impressive offense. I've watched several of their games and they look an awful lot like Louisville. To score 43 points on a defense like Bama's is awesome.

If Ole Miss had a better defense, they would definitely be the best team in America. Louisville may be the best right now. We'll know after they put up that juggernaut against Clemson's fine wall on Saturday.

It was kind of inevitable. The growing pains were noticeable through the first three games. But if they can find a decent replacement for Chubb (I assume he's leaving, given that the danger of serious injury has been made painfully clear to him), they could have a dangerous team next year with a more experienced Eason, and a title contender in 2018. Recruiting has been lights-out, as I assume everyone here has noticed.

What's the common wisdom on Michel? Leaving? Coming back?

Edit: Incidentally, this is the life of a Vandy fan...I spent more time trying to decide if I wanted "growing pains" or "growing pangs" than I did writing the rest of the comment. Sometimes I think we're a lost cause as a fanbase.

Their biggest issue is Miami's rise in the polls.

People say boom can be fired but I look for the wheels to fall off the bulldogs team and s art is looking like another Saban coaching tree failure. I mean they aren't good at anything. They aren't good at stuff they were good T last year with the same players.i like Chubb that was hard to watch.

Lville punted 4 times

All year.

Their qb is literally on pace for a 100 touchdown season (assuming they make it to the ncg) you can't be serious about the most explosive offense.

Hadn't thought about that in a couple of weeks. I imagine that has to hurt up there in Athens, especially given how wishy-washy Miami has been over the last decade. Miami still has FSU (and GT, I guess), but avoid Clemson and Louisville. They could theoretically go undefeated until the ACC title game.

At least our old coach just got bitch-slapped by Michigan and has the same record as us right now.

I'll give them FSU, though the Seminoles have struggled mightily to field a defense up to their usual standards (spoiler: it's really not). But my policy is to withhold judgment on high-octane offenses, both in football and basketball, until the team has taken on a couple real defenses. Fielding high-powered offenses is much easier than taking down great teams with solid defenses. The best (by far) they'll get in the regular season is Clemson, and Clemson has struggled defensively too.

The Houston game should be...interesting.

You have a really really good offense. Damn good. But it's not as potent as the L'ville offense that's just a fact. You scored 34 points against FSU. They scored 63. And could have easily scored more. That's not putting you guys down that's a unreal offense and that was a silly arse statement to make
