Has this been the worst offseason in terms of negative press for the SEC?

Was talking with a buddy about this last night. Seems like almost every major program has had to deal with some kind of negative story.
Tennessee - rape investigations
Ole Miss - NCAA investigation and Tunsil draft fiasco
Mississippi St - Incoming recruit under investigation for assaulting a female
LSU - budget issues
Alabama - firing a longtime assistant for recruiting violations
Georgia - Multiple arrests, "Kirby's law"
Auburn - Relatively quiet until arrests this past weekend
A&M - WR coach melts down on Twitter over decommittment and loses another recruit in the process
Now, Georgia/Auburn having players arrested isn't really surprising. LSU had the budget crisis drama last year, it won't affect athletics. Bo Davis isn't the first and won't be the last assistant fired for committing a recruiting violation. So those 4 are more common issues that seem to happen every offseason.
Ole Miss and Tennessee are major stories for sure. We have also had the satellite camp drama in which Harbaugh has basically thrown down the gauntlet against the entire SEC. Kirby's law is the kind of the thing that the anti-SEC crowd will use as an example to criticize athletic programs for being too big and powerful.
I can't think of another offseason that had this much controversy, and we still have 4 months to go.

the satellite camps were blown out of proportion
all the sec had to do was change their rules and allow sec coaches to participate
the camps are beneficial to the lower tier players getting their name out there for other schools
it's irrelevant, Harbaugh can have a camp anywhere he wants, it will still be a tough sell to get these players away from Bama, LSU, Fla, etc.

I wonder how quickly he begins to change his tune when SEC schools start cherrypicking more kids from the Big10 footprint.

But why would LSU have a camp in Lansing, MI with 10 kids worthy of Div 1 offers when they can have a camp in south Florida with 100 kids with Div 1 offers?
The offseason is better than it could be because the SEC performed well in bowl season and won the title as a conference

Most people think A&M is still in the big 12 so it's not really bad press for the SEC

Probably the offseason where the Governor of Alabama held a press conference at UofA saying that black people would never attend Alabama.
