We herped and derped right out of the gate in 2000 after starting #3. But we weren't pussies about it and fired anybody four games into the disaster.

It happens every year, one preseason top 10 will finish outside the top 25.

Maybe you should have
You lost 8 games that year, then averaged over 5 losses per season over the next 6 years until you got the GOAT from Miami.
We don't want to wait that long, though we easily could end up doing so.
We've already experienced 11 losses over the previous 3 seasons with miles, twice as many as his first 3 seasons, and it was only looking to get worse. It's worth the risk at this point
