ummm, I guess I'd say it's done neither.
I fully admit that after getting involved here, whenever certain SEC teams would lose I would enjoy the fact that certain posters from that team would be miserable. That part is cool. And obvioulsy I like passing the time here. But I wouldn't say this site has made me enjoy college sports any more or less.

It makes me sad how Ole Miss fans continue to deflect and deny their program's outlaw status. It's really disheartening how they refuse to learn from or admit to their mistakes.

It's made me realize how many miserable, ignorant, racist, bigoted fricks are in this world...because, frankly, the SEC Rant isn't the only place they exist.

Makes me sad for the human race. Makes me realize how much smarter I am than all of you and how you're all sheeple that just latch onto whatever the groupthink is at the moment.

I've been here a long time and the rant has changed over the years. But I do enjoy getting various opinions and information on other teams in multiple sports. I also like that any news good or bad on anything SEC related will hit this board at lightening speed. The rant is in "real time" with news and updates.

I hear much worse outside the rant than on it related to racist, bigoted, and ignorant view points. If you don't, you don't get out much or don't live in the south

Greatly increased my enjoyment. I know more random things about SEC programs than any of my IRL Aggie friends.
