Has Ole Miss replaced Tennessee in the SEC?

A few years ago Tennessee was still a powerful football program, capable of beating any of the top dogs on a given Saturday. They also put a very formidable basketball team on the floor.
Now that Tennessee is essentially dog shite, it looks like Ole Miss has stepped into their place. They are capable of playing toe to toe with the best football teams in the conference, and their basketball team is solid.
We've been quietly raising eyebrows about Tennessee taking up a seat among the Big Six undeservedly. Maybe we should get ready to paint that seat Red and Blue. Ole Miss, are you ready to win an SEC championship?

Ole Miss is not going to replace UT, they will replace LSU when tDecline is complete. Mizzou has replaced UT by dominating the East the past two years. UT is about to take their place back though.

Auburn is more of a likely candidate for than either LSU or UT an OM take over

A member of the Big 6 cannot be replaced until a member of the little 8 wins both the SEC and the National Championship. And even then, first team out is UGA, not UT.

What is the lesson you believe should be learned? You've sucked arse all along that time, so the lesson is not that Tennessee should still be up there, it's simply that nobody else has emerged yet.
