No, it's impossible for a team to improve as the season progresses.

LSU stayed the same. Auburn has declined.

LSU averaged like 6.7 ypc on 1st down and went 0/13
They improved by becoming more one-dimensional, and focusing on what they do well.
Not playing Nick Marshall/Josh Robinson and Dak Prescott helps as well.

I think LSU's biggest thing is they found their identity.
At first they were trying to much with their shitty QBs.
Now they are just gonna line up and Toss Dive that bitch right at you over and over and over and it works for them. Thats their biggest improvemnt

Defensively, it looks that way.
Offensively, yes, but not drastically.

It's hard to say, defensively. Our running game sucks, so we weren't a good measuring stick for your defense. LSU has a legitimately good secondary.
LSU didn't match up well against Auburn early in the season, and probably still wouldn't.

Beckwith and Adams might be 2 of our best players on defense. Neither of them started when we played you...
Offensively, the o-line is much better but not that much better.

No, but their fans are drinking more.

No, not as much as the unwashed masses of Corn Dog Nation believe.
