Jimbo Fisher has.
Has Les Miles lost by 39 points any time in his LSU career? Jimbo Fisher lost by 39 last year with arguably the most talented roster in the country.
Be careful what you wish for...

Has Jimbo lost to Arkansas five of the last nine years?

All that is going to come of this is a fat contract extension for Jimbo. No reason to leave Florida for one of the worst states in the nation

I'm glad we've established that losing to Arkansas is the nadir of any coach's tenure.

Has led miles been blown out in 3 straight games? Yes
You people are unreal. The same people that made fun of us about haveing Les as our coach, are the same people defending the frick out of him.
I love Les Miles, but the flack our fan base is getting because of all this is ridiculous. Miles WAS a great coach. Unfortunately, IMO his time has come up. Will always love Miles. But I think it's time to go in another direction.

Miles = Dietzel plus 3 years

You ungrateful bastards are kicking out a great man and coach. TBH, not sure how many coaches will want to go into a situation where you get fired for averaging 10 wins.

Millions of dollars in a contract helps.

We said the exact same thing about Fulmer

Jimbo has a comparable record to les in a much easier conference.
LSU fans giddy about making the move are fools
The school is broke, the state is broke, and these goofballs wanna spend 30M plus for a lateral coaching hire
This is very entertaining.

But Georgia's coach is outstanding, you should keep him.
Amazing what richt can do with only 40 or 50 SEC recruits coming out of that state every year.

Has Jimbo had the game pass him by? No.

Jumbo can find all kinds of kids from the ghettos of BR to ensure that those losses never happen again. Just has to get the BRPD on the payroll like he has in Tallahassee.

Let's pretend you are a coach and you go on a job interview.
THEM: "Hi coach, glad you could interview with us today."
YOU: "Thanks, I am excited about this opportunity. I owe it to my family to listen to your pitch, but I'd like to get some background first if that's all right."
THEM: "Sure, we'd expect no less. What did you want to know? We have solid facilities, regularly sell out games in our huge stadium, and we are located smack dab in the middle of some great recruiting territory. And we play in the SEC."
YOU: "That's all wonderful. But, I always like to know what type of situation I am walking into if I consider a job. Can you tell me a bit about the last guy?"
THEM: "Sure... well, he's been averaging ten wins a year. He has won a national championship for us and a few SEC and division titles. He might not be the absolute best on field tactician but he's is a superb recruiter, one of the best. Has an overall winning record against all our rivals except one. Great personality, family man, no NCAA problems with the program, really loves our team. Had an opportunity to go to his alma mater but turned it down to stay here a few years ago. But you know... sometimes despite all the good, things just don't work out."
YOU: "That actually sounds pretty impressive. But yeah, I understand that sometimes things just don't work out. Maybe he was having a really bad year."
THEM: "Well, I'll admit that the last little stretch here has been tough but three or four weeks ago, we were ranked #2 in the playoff standings and we had the leading Heisman candidate."
YOU: "Hmmm... I'm really surprised that things aren't working out. Maybe this guy is just a real jerk to the fans or something, or refuses to work with the college."
THEM: "Not really. He's been great to work with and the fans worshiped the ground he walked on... until the last few weeks so unfortunately, he's gotta go. You know what they say, just like over at the Cow College in our division... If you can't beat Nick and the Rebs.... errr, Black Bears... and Hawgs, change might be a-comin'."
YOU: "I gotta be honest with you, if you guys are unhappy with that type of coach, it really doesn't sound that good of a situation for the next guy you hire. I'm having my doubts."
THEM: "Oh, did I mention that we can pay you $6.7 million dollars a year?"
YOU: "Ah, that's a gamechanger. Sign me up, I'm in. Free dental, right?"
THEM: "You betcha. Welcome to the LSU family!!!!"

TexAG, I'm pretty sure you were part of the masses that ridiculed LSU fans about miles. " he only wins bc of the program and SABAN players" now he's a great coach, LSU should be ashamed!!!
I love how every one says 10 wins overall record. Please compare his first 5 years to last 5 years. Compare the ranked teams he was beating the first 5 to the last 5. It has completely reversed. Losing to the top teams but beating the non ranked.
Outside of being a great man and great recruiter, tell me what he does to be considered a great coach. Hes a great recruiter, no doubt! But be specific of what makes him a great coach..., so great that you made fun of LSU fir having him and his success was based off saban players early in his career. Let me help you, is it his game manning? Scheme? Play calling? Player development (QB)? 8 of last 9 years having an offense ranked 96th or worse? Discipline of players(one of most penalized teams last 10 years)? Please tell me what makes him great?
This season is just another variable to the problem. This has been brewing for years and if everyone is being completely honest will admit miles has some major coaching flaws. Let me be clear, I don't expect LSU to win every game or win a NC every other year. But I do expect a coach that makes 5mill a year who continually says "our job is to compete for championships at LSU, that's what we do". To actually Field a team that can complete a forward pass, show with a sound game plan, smooth play calling, disciplined players and make sound in game adjustments. That hasn't happened for years.
