Has any rumors been thrown around about Kiffin?

The idea of him getting the ax because of calling a poor game against Washington is absurd. Something extreme happened that forced Saban's hand a week before the championship. These players have played with Kiffin for several years now and they just know each other, there's a rapport there in the games that a new OC won't understand. He had to screw up big time to get canned today.

I'm sure any good rumor will originate from either Lee County or the capital of Louisiana.

I don't think the problem is kiffin... I think it's Saban. He is coming unwound as he ages.

I don't think it was because of a poor game Saturday. I think the poor game as a result of Kiffin not being able to handle two jobs is what did it.

The line that Kiffin is toeing on Finebaum right now is he couldn't juggle both prepping for these games and being FAU HC. And that Sark is similar enough that all parties felt comfortable with the transition.
IMO that's probably true but there were likely some things like not calling a good game against UW possibly due to being distracted by the FAU stuff or maybe late meetings because he's focused on FAU business that contributed.

Kiffin voted for Trump and Saban is a Democrat

No. This is about Kiffin not being able to work for two schools at once.

He doesn't fire Kiffin unless he has to, this wasn't something that Saban wanted to do. Like I said, there's more about the OC position than just calling plays. The players knew him and he knew the players, this was forced on Saban.

Lane missed the bus so Nick fired his arse. lol

Would you want to keep an OC that was only 50% focused on the game?

Don't buy this at all, there's only one week left. Honestly, think about it.

Go back to ITAT and brainstorm until you guys have a story then come back and present it.

He sounded like he was about to cry on finebaum just now.

there's only one week left.

I think you're underestimating that the one game left is not only for the NC, but also the one that will tie the Bear.
Saban's not going to let a distracted OC that he's not even that fond of frick that up.

Putin wanted him out so Trump made it happen.

Did you see how shitty the result was before? It's totally reasonable to think Saban wanted Sark to take over so he didn't have to worry about his OC being all in. Sark knows the plays, he knows the personnel, and he's been a part on prep and planning all season. Nothing has to change except the guy calling the play.
