Has any other program accomplished less than LSU...

with names like these?
Pete Maravich, Shaquille Oneal, Chris Jackson, and Ben Simmons.
With just one of these players any other respectable basketball program in the country wins a national title. Instead LSU is left embarrassed and ashamed at what could've been glorious runs in the tourney with these players. What a sad program.

Don't forget 7 footer Stanley Roberts. Played with CJ and shaq. He was better than shaq. Unreal that team wasn't a legit FF team.

How have they underachieved? LSU has made four final fours. That's the same number of final fours as Oklahoma, UNLV, Wisconsin, and Utah and more than N.C. State, Texas, Villanova, Maryland, St. John's and a number of other really good basketball schools. They also have eleven SEC regular season titles. I think they've done pretty well for themselves.

LSU has made 4 Final Fours. What years with those guys should LSU have reached the Final Four? Certainly not with Maravich. Certainly not with Simmons. One of the Shaq or Chris Jackson years? Sure. But we've overachieved in 1986 and 2006.
I would argue that Alabama has underachieved in basketball more than LSU has.

Yes but the point is that there is not one single final four between those all time great players, that's underachieving. LSU's all time starting five takes a dump on any other SEC all time starting five just because of that 4, and yet I think the farthest any of them got is Shaqs sweet sixteen.

Your stupidity is showing.... Winning a basketball Natty is very very difficult ... Lots of really talented basketball teams from storied programs have come up short of even making it to the game... Much less winning it.
