and I am sorry, but I do not feel the passion like that from Chizik and I wish our coach had that in him. Turner Gill had that passion after that game last year. I dunno but maybe I got a bad feeling about Chizik's future. A couple of years with no improvement and he is canned. Our team has to show improvement instead of regressing every week.

His defense looked really strong last year in the early going before they ran out of gas.

Aubrn may play them in a bowl this year.

You might want to give him a couple of years with 85 scholarship players before making any judgments about his coaching ability. No one can win with one hand tied behind his back.

I remember Bama won in a close game vs. Iowa State in the Indy Bowl about 8 years ago...

Yeah, I don't know what to say about this. I understand depth is an issue. But jeez, on offense NOTHING has changed personnel wise (except for McCalebb being a little dinged), and all of a sudden Todd looks like he did last year?? I mean what the hell happened? And do NOT tell me the same old line about teams learning what you are prone to do offensively.....that's been the way it's worked since football was invented. But that's what execution is all about.

Defensively we are horrible due to depth - I totally get that side of the ball.

Glad to see Rhoads doing well, he waited for the coaching job at Pitt and their AD dumped on him then he came to AU where the team had a meltdown and he was fired. Some of my ISU fans are pleased with him I'm glad he is doing well and so far they.

I don't think the words "good" and "Shreveport" really go to well together..

The guy who covers ISU football predicted at the beginning of the season that ISU would win 5-6 games with Rhoads...he said Chizik was expected to win around 7...but who knows what would have happend with Chiz if he was at ISU...
