Is Fulmer going to sneak into his party and steal his gifts?

I had the privilege of meeting Coach Majors a few years ago. He's a fine man.

He is one of the finest Tennesseans you'll ever meet. He'd give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

I talked to him at a party here in Fayetteville prob 8-10 years ago. Dude was hilarious, held nothing back talking about Fulmer...

Nope. A ND player from a losing team deserved it with the following stats:

59 Cmp, 111 Att, 917 Yds, 3 TD, 13 Int

I went to this Tennessee players reunion about 10 years ago that Fulmer and Majors were both at. They pretty much stayed on opposite ends of the room and didn't acknowledge each other. I told Coach Majors I had his book "You can always go home again", which is about when he came back to Tennessee after winning the title at Pitt. Anyway, I when I left, he stopped me and asked me to send him the book and he'd sign it for me. I did and he sent it back. He is still pretty sharp and can tell great stories.

Lol that's ridiculous

Majors got fricked over worse than Peyton. At least Woodson had a decent case.

I believe that distinction belongs to Troy Smith.

Happy Birthday Johnny.

They have him on the radio in Knoxville every now and then. The guy is amazingly sharp for his age. The things he can remember is mind boggling. He is also funny as crap. One of the last of the old guard of SEC coaches. Absolutely one of my favorites.

In Hoc Signo Vinces, Johnny.

I heard him and when someone asked him about Fulmer he said,"You mean Judas Brutus?'. Saw him in 2013 when the 1963 MSU Liberty Bowl winners were recognized. Great Guy. He was an assistant on that team and came backto be honored with them. I haven't had squat for Tennessee since they ran Johnny out of town.

Great coach and very good man. If he can survive the stab wounds in his back from Fulmer, he should be with us a long time.
