I for one appreciate Chief and the work he did here. It was time for him to move on. Hell, just because your almost 60 doesn't mean you don't like a good challenge or you want to see if the grass is greener.

Chief will do well at A$M and the move solidifies one hell of a bunch of hype each time LSU and A$M play.

Good business all the way around. I mean look at the excitement surrounding the Bama vs. LSU game after Saban returned. No, I'm not comparing Chief to Saban but just pointing out that this will ratchet things up a few notches for sure.

It was getting stale at LSU and he needed to move on.......question is.....who are we getting to replace him? We have a lot of options....going to be very interesting.

Yeah, he's a home run hire. I just want him to take Brick Haley with him so badly

I didn't because I've actually known him personally since Alabama A&M. He was lucky to get the job. All he had was player talent and he will be done in 2 years. It's so sad people form opinions by not even talking to a person. If you did, you'd know exactly what I'm talking about. About all he can really do is make ribs. Oh, and his secret is beer.

He padded his stats against the Sam Houston Sts, ULMs, and New Mexico Sts.

...oh...and the Texas A&Ms

Look, I bleed P&G and live for LSU football and baseball, but you have to admit the guys defense was getting beat to hell being left on the field during crunch time.

We can talk about 3rd and Chavis and the bend but don't break philosophy, but I really feel like the cat just saw the writing not he wall. Miles hasn't shown a willingness to change offensive schemes and Chavis got tired of taking a load of crap over last minute losses.

Bama game is a prime example. If Quinn converts the first, more than likely LSU wins that game. However with our offense more times than not, we don't convert against a quality opponent.
