until Thursday. I don't see Bama getting down 20-0, I don't see Bama having 3 turnovers to TAMU's zero, and I don't see Bama starting off 0 for 7 on their 3rd down conversion attempts. TAMU scored 9 points on Bama after that disastrous 1st quarter. That's about right. I give them between 15-20 for the game. They scored 19 vs. LSU last year and 17 vs. Florida. That's about what that Offense against good Defense's should score. OTOH, TAMU's Defense is not in that league. Not gonna predict a score, but Bama will control the game. Saban will treat Manziel much like he did Arkansas in 2010.

I agree. CJ Mosley can be game-changing if he plays well.

I predict Bama wins 30-21

This is likely right. I'll even give aTm the benefit of the doubt and say they get a garbage TD. They still lose by 10 or more. Alabama hasn't given up 30 points in a football game since 2008.

Some people say it's an excuse, and maybe it is, but that was a HIGHLY emotional, physical game on national TV in prime time vs. LSU the week before Bama played TAMU. It effected Bama, that was plain to see. Not the case this year. JFF may beat us 2 in a row like Flutie did in the 80's, but I doubt it.

I was there at the 2010 game in Fayetteville. Bama was able to take Arkansas out of our game plan and was able to control the clock with your run game.

You then confused RM into throwing a fatal pick at the end.

The variable here is how well the Bama O does vs the TAMU D. If you keep the bama d on the field all day, TAMU is going to kill them.

To me, this is a real test case for the future.

Is the 'spread' the future? Or will run-based pro-style power teams-coupled with solid defense- continue to rule?

I find it very interesting that after years of reading on the rant about the 'soft' Big 12 and their wide-open offenses coupled with porous defense, that so many of our teams our now transitioning to some form of the spread.

Maybe the Big 12 folks were right all along? Guess we shall see

People are dogging A&M defense, but wasn't half the defense suspended for the first two games. Not sure what to expect.

Worried we won't score enough to win
