The stadium seats 71,000 and I think Mizzou has been averaging in the mid 60,000s this season. We already know most Mizzou fans live in KC and STL and many won't want want to miss 2 days of work to make it to a Thursday night game. Add in that it's supposed to storm throughout the game and our team sucks, not to mention our opponent is Mississippi State....what's your guess for attendance?

I'm gonna say about 40,000 people actually show up.

44k is my guess...probably would be closer to 50k without rain.

The mizzou sideline reporter was talking in Mississippi sports talk radio yesterday and said he expected a big crowd due to y'all having been on the road of off for 3 weeks.

If it were a Saturday night game with nice weather I'd agree. We already know Mizzou fans don't travel all that well (even in state) so I think the Thursday night slot plus rain will be a huge deterrent.

Nope. Weeknight. Rain. Offense is terrible. Maybe if we were 7-1 it might be that way...but not now.

Solid prediction...I think it'll be in that neighborhood.

Last home Thursday night game we had was Kentucky and it was also during fall break. Attendance was crappy for us. I like watching Thursday night games but not when my school hosts them.

I'm not in the southeast right now, are there just a ton of storms going through there? Because I've heard reports of storms possible for UT vs SCe, LSU vs Bama, and now this game.

Yeah there's a band of storms from Missouri down to Texas that is moving east tonight.

First you try to fire Loftin, now you suck as fans. Why did we bring you to the SEC with us again?

Well, my parents gave away their tickets. You can essentially sit anywhere for $6-$10. With that little bit of information, I would say 40k. It's also worth noting that the game isn't appealing for families with younger children when you factor rain/time slot/day... Normally, we have 20-30 people at our tailgate and this week we have like 5-10 confirmed.

I'm just giving yall shite. I was able to get club seats for like $30 right before the USCe kick off last week. We had some flooding around the state. Weather should reduce the crowd, but by 40% seems like a little much.
