Shoop finna eat
Stunning news arrived Friday that Georgia Tech B-back Dedrick Mills was dismissed from the football team for a violation of athletic-department rules.
Mills was expected to be the centerpiece of Tech’s offense this season after having led the Yellow Jackets in rushing yards as a freshman last season.

How's your Dline depth? Are you prepared to face this type of offense early season?
No flame, just curious.

Congrats. But I was always under the impression that GT's success was more a result of the system.

He's failed drug tests before. Big blow for them by far their best back

The GT dude blocking won't be so high.....
Let's see how he does when blocks are going towards his knees...

Sounds like it was his 3rd strike.
He was 2nd team all ACC last season with 1,100+ yds and 14 TD.

GT offense scored 26 points vs UK in the bowl game (they had a scoop and score to start the game).
Mills had 31 of their 51 total carries for 169 yards, and their graduated QB had 9 carries for 51 yards and they each scored one of the team's two rushing TDs, respectively.
This, along with losing their starting LT, is a big deal

If I recall last season their top back (because Mills was injured during the season?) transferred before our bowl game. I think his name was Marshall. At any rate it sounds like they have a lot of churn going on. They run one hell of a system though so I'm not sure it matters.

Too bad they have five more rb capable of taking his place. Tennessee thinks they're going to be able to stop the option lololol

Looking forward to seeing the VOLS dominate OOC opponents per the usual.

Better than you stopped Florida's third string team in Baton Rouge anyways.

You know, if I was petty, I would bring up how Georgia tech always acts like their shite doesn't stink when a Georgia player gets a speeding ticket.
But I'm not so I won't.
It would be true if I did though.
