Why do fans always salivate over Gruden coming to coach their team? What is it that makes him that great of a hire? I like him as a commentator, but does his resume really propel him to the top of the coaching heap?

Sshh, if the vols have hope, it makes it that much funnier when they finally hire their 10th guy on the list.

Quite a few UGA fans OTB seem worried that UT might actually get Gruden this time -- trying to convince Vols fans (or themselves) he's not the right guy for them.

I could see him end up going full SC version of SOS for them. Getting a lot of higher rated guys on his reputation, giving da Vols some higher level success for a while, then when lack of recruiting catches up to him he bolts and it all comes crashing down.
