Well, he also was beat out by a 3* recruit for the job at UVA. I think UGA will be fine because of their running game but if someone can successfully stack the box, it will be interesting to see how Lambert performs.

Dobbs was pedestrian against Vandy, Mizzou, and USCe, was ok in mop up duty against Bama and as a starter against Iowa, and beasted UK.
If we're the worst in the East, we're still not too far from the leader of the pack.

I'd say Dobbs was better than pedestrian vs. USCe, but I'll agree with your overall point. New Gator QB, new UGA QB, new USCe QB, Mauk is inconsistent, Dobbs unproven (I'm personally worried about his accuracy), and Towles. I can't wait for the season, should be interesting.

I read elsewhere that Richt was holding out hope for as long as he could in hopes that Ramsey would finally get something going and pull away with it to prove he was the one. He was Richt's guy. Lambert was Schotty's guy early on and now it seems like he got his man. Again, just what i read on another board.
