Said flat out he would be intersted, then he back tracks, then he keeps getting half way serious. But he keeps talking about it, then wonders if his Doctor wife would move to Montgomery, etc. FWIW

I could see all Bama people voting for him regardless of his affiliation since you guys are in love with him since all he talks about is Bama. Do the Auburn fans offset you? I donno.

He shite all over Bama's face when we sucked. More Alabama people hate him than like him.
I don't really care either way, I recognize the guy for what he is : a capitalist. But, rednecks remember the DuBose/Fran/Price/Shula era and how Finebaum laughed at us daily (with good reason, mostly, but those types of people don't think that way).

I can see it now, Barkley for gov. F Bomf for lt gov.
After a few months F Bomb sabotages Charles airplane while on a drug run over the Brumada triangle. F Bomb takes over the state and names Saban as his top adviser. After a few months Saban sabotages F Bombs plane over green county while on a ditch weed run. Saban offers the top advisers job it GusBus. And here is where it gets untrusting.

Finebaum was flat out joking. The story line was about Tubs considering a run & he threw that out there as a joke & then his bama callers took it & ran with it.

Since most of our governors get put in jail, I'd be all for his running for governor.
