What a tough series by both teams. Coming into the year I saw you replaced a lot of people on the team. Yall are certainly a surprise this year and are a very complete team. I still think it's between Arkansas or Mississippi State to win the SEC right now.
I was able to attend the Friday and Saturday games. Sat GA Friday and in BP2 on Saturday.
Made an attempt at tailgating Saturday. Since when is the parking lot across the street closed till 2 pm for a 6 pm game? That kills tailgating, though we just ramped the curb like most people did. Then proceeded to break two tents with how crazy the wind was. Had grills fired up and crawfish boiling.
All the Arkansas fans that we talked to in the game or stopped by our tailgate were fun to talk to and had some fun baseball conversation with.
Though you always have the douche bag college kids that think it's cool to say "frick LSU" or "frick the Tigers" in front of little kids. One truck actually came by our tailgate three times to repeatedly do it after we brought up we had kids with us.
The LSU series at Baum is always insane. Good luck the rest of the season!

Agreed. The "Though you always have" was a reference towards every fan base, wasn't directly representative of the Arkansas fan base.
Though I've seen my fair share of bad ones.

Yep, just have to remember they are the exception not the rule

Sat on the Hog Pen bleachers for the Saturday game and might have had the same people behind us. Loud, obnoxious and not even watching the game. We watched from the concourse the rest of the game lol

I enjoy games at Baum. Pretty avid fan base that enjoys talking baseball.
Definitely enjoyed pregamming across the street before the game Friday at Foghorns. Food was brought out fairly fast despite a packed building.
Would have been there Saturday too if we weren't boiling 80 lbs of crawfish.

Unfortunately the wind slowed our tailgate in a few ways.
The wind was strong enough to push on of the gates open in the opposite side parking lot. It unfortunately pushed it open as a car was coming in the entrance and caught the side of the car and completely demolished the back rear window.

We were tailgaiting right next to you! My wife was the one who had to move her SUV because of the restricted lot. We did talk the guard into letting us keep one parked there. What a game Saturday!

That's the thing about Fayetteville--it's often a windy place. When I went to school there long ago (and had a little more hair than I do now) I had to use this "concrete" hairspray to keep my hair in place.

Gotcha. How did yalls tent hold up? Pretty sure it tipped over when the gate smashed the car?

I've lived in NWA most of my life and I've never seen it this windy this consistently. The weather here has been crazy for sure this year.

Yes, it flew over. A part of the skeleton came off but my buddy said he can fix it. It had Hogs on it so no loss.

So much this, I got my money's worth of the windbreaker when I was in school.

We lost two frames. The LSU canopy is still in tact though. Can get a similar frame from Academy we saw.
Between losing two tents, our propane tank not working for the crawfish, the small propane tank running out on the grill(while my jeep was in springdale with the spare tank), and ultimately sitting through an 8-1 game without alcohol then the eventual comeback.. it was a hell of a day.

You should have come drink with us in the HP. Lord knows the way I felt Sunday morning, I could have used some help drinking Fayettenam dry! We went to a couple of bars on Dixon to celebrate.

We went out after the Friday game to Dickson and some other bars. Saturday started drinking around 10 am. It was a long day. May be burnt.
