All the expansion options are unbelievably crappy. Honestly they're better staying at 10.

OU and UT should join the PAC.

Herman is a child and will prove to be a disaster for whatever major program gets him.

Keep hoping for him, just like you keep hoping to play us again

I saw all I needed to see during that bowl game against Arkansas.

We tried to limit Texas' yardage to numbers their fans could understand.

We did good with the 2 yards rushing but 57 yards had them all "What's that there 5 and 7 doin' without a space b'tween 'em "

I'm sorry but we're just not that into you anymore. It's not you, it's us. We have just grown apart over the years and we have just grown accustomed to playing better teams. Don't worry though, I'm sure you can find another team to obsess over.

Legit question: Why would A&M care? They have a coach. LSU fans might be sad, but A&M fans might struggle to find one frick in their pocket.

That's ok, texas has dildos in their pockets already.

I was under the impression Texans were unfamiliar with this expression. I didn't want you to think I was putting on airs.

I can see this.
He would be following in the footsteps of Sumlin

No, they did good. The performance of a public service is always considered a 'good' when catering to half-wits. Not all unusual variants are actual solecisms.

Herman is just unproven. His M.O. is far more suited to programs that have to compensate for a talent deficiency than ones who want to outlast their opponents over the course of a bruising season. That doesn't mean he can't do well at a major program -- Urban certainly did -- but it does mean his performance at UH can't be easily extrapolated to a more talent-rich traditional program.

Edit: I'll put it this way...UH can beat anybody if they manage to dictate tempo. The odds of them keeping it up for an entire season against a major conference schedule is considerably lower than lots of people want to believe. It's interesting that their remaining big game is against Louisville, which shares certain characteristics with Houston and, before the season is over, is likely to hit a program they can't just out-tempo. That's why I don't like either UH or UL for a NC. They can get to the playoffs, but they will then likely be facing a really tough traditional power that has a few weeks to prepare for them. Not ideal for either program.

I don't think he is a child, but he is very thin skinned. I'm here in houston and last year, Herman caused a big scene because a radio host said that Herman was talking to Kyle Allen when he wasn't supposed to be per NCAA rules.

Herman called into the show and whined for 10 minutes about it. If you are a big time college coach, you have to be able to let these types of things go.
